Welcome
to Fargo-Moorhead! Fargo-Moorhead foresees
a future bright with expansion, engaging
cultural diversity and a quick start into
the 21st century. It is the largest metropolitan
area between Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota,
and Spokane, Washington. In the past few
years, several magazines have proclaimed
Fargo-Moorhead one of the most stress-free
metropolitan areas in America. We call that
"Quality of Life".

The
air and water are clean, the economy is high, the
crime and unemployment rates are some of the lowest
in the nation and the people are some of the most
friendly. Fargo-Moorhead is a bustling, active metropolitan
area in the midst of rich, fertile farmland. Fargo,
ND and Moorhead, MN are located at the intersection
of Interstates 94 and 29. The largest metropolitan
area between Minneapolis and Spokane offers unique
attractions, shopping, casinos and over 3400 guest
rooms and 200 restaurants. We're proud of our local
history and our attractions show it off well! Plan
your day to suit all your interests. Your choices
range from A to Z, art galleries to zoos! With so
much to choose from, Fargo-Moorhead's events and
attractions satisfy everyone in the group. Diverse
entertainment opportunities allow you to play like
a child, experience sophisticated drama, enjoy a
concert with world famous singers or attend a rodeo.
Fargo-Moorhead is a lively, cultural community that
boasts a pleasant variety of things to do and places
to see. What are you in the mood to do? During daytime
you can blend in with nature or visit some of our
attractions. With 300 acres of bluestem prairie
woods, a swimming area, camping and river communities,
Buffalo River State Park is well suited for family
fun and environmental education. Committed to involving
participants in hands-on learning, the Regional
Science Center provides programs on science, technology
and environmental education for people of all ages.
Walk the nature trails, view the vast, long-stem
prairie or visit the bird observatory and butterfly
garden.

Guided trail walks provided. The Bergquist
cabin, built in 1870 by Swedish immigrant
John Bergquist, is the oldest house in Moorhead
still on its original site. The cabin is open
each year during the Scandinavian Hjemkomst
Festival in June, and by appointment. Or the
Bonanzaville, fifteen fascinating acres of
historic buildings, ranging from a sod house
to a church, court house and country store.
Specialty museums house antique cars, airplanes,
farm equipment and other memorabilia. The
Fargo Air Museum and the Fargodome are also
great to see. Nightlife is hot and cheerful,
with bars, comedy clubs, dancing, gaming,
karaoke, live music, all ready to help you
enjoy your life to the fullest.
